British, French Drug Firms Lead on Marijuana Tests

The U.S. is falling behind in the creation of new marijuana-based drugs because of government restrictions on marijuana research. The drugs have the potential to shrink tumors, enhance the effects of morphine in cancer patients, and treat depression, among other conditions.
