Here’s a nice gallery of houses in majestic natural locales.
Greg Kroah-Hartman’s Linux Driver Project is an effort to connect a group of more than 300 volunteer Linux driver developers with hardware companies that need drivers written. Their problem: they can’t find enough unsupported devices to keep them busy. I’m pretty sure I have a few wireless cards at home that don’t work, so I’ll give those a try.
The album of last week was Underworld’s Oblivion With Bells.
The album of the week is Beirut’s The Flying Club Cup.
Radiohead’s new album, In Rainbows, is only available as a DRM-free MP3 download from their web site. You get to choose how much to pay for it. Right now the album web site is very slow but they seem to have outsourced the payment process and download to someone who can handle the load.
Wired has a profile of Getting Things Done guru David Allen. It includes the weird story of Allen’s involvement with a cult-like New Age church. I don’t think I’m being brainwashed by my Weekly Reviews and my Next Action lists ;)
